HONG ELECTORATE GIVE KUDOS TO HON. BATHIYA, URGE HIM TO GO FOR 2ND TERM


 

Impressed by his outstanding performance at the State House of Assembly, the electorate in Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa state have urged on the Member representing Hong constituency, Hon. Bathiya Wesley, to seek reelection.


According to cross section of Hong electorate, the only way they can reciprocate the good representation of the PDP Lawmaker is to return him for second term for continuity. 


Speaking at a commissioning/empowerment programme organised by the Member and held in Hong in Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, the Executive Chairman Hong LGC, Hon. James Pukuma, applauded the Member for his performance and pledged their readiness to support him. 


Also speaking, the Provost College of Education (COE) Hong, Professor Johnson Haniel Pongri, and former Vice Chancellor Adamawa state University (ADSU), Mubi, Professor David Joshua Shall passed a vote of confidence on the legislator.


The duo further commended communities for identifying and electing Hon. Bathiya who according to them is committed to the development of his constituency, saying that the electorate in Hong did not make mistake in voting for him.


According to them, the stakeholders in Hong are proud of him, and that they are solidly behind him to see to his success, and appealed to the entire electorate to support and encourage him during the forthcoming election.


Also speaking, the District Head of Hong and Dan Maliki Adamawa, Alh Umar B. Mahmud, gave kudos to the Legislator for the remarkable achievements so far recorded.


The royal father declared that they are 100% behind him, adding that what the Member has done is a clear demonstration that he is good leader, and however appealed to him to go for second term.


Alh. Mahmud, stated that they have seen and tasted the stewardship of the Member, explaining that he has been so helpful to his electorate since the day he was elected into office, and that he is always in close contact with his masses.


On his part, the PDP Chairman, Hon. Waganda Inuwa Usman, told the gathering that the electorate in Hong have voted for credible leader who has the love of his people at heart, saying that the member has done what is expected of him as a grassroots politician.


According to him, the electorate in Hong LGA have tasted the leadership style of the Member, and that they are determined to support him to continue to move forward politically.


Several representatives of communities applauded the Member, and pledged to rally round him order to enable him succeed in winning future elections.
