ADHA Receives Leader Leneke's Name for Confirmation as Commissioner


Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa LGA, for screening and confirmation as Commissioner. News Platform 

Leader Leneke's name was sent to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to assembly and read at the plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley.

After presenting the letter at the hallowed chamber, Rt. Hon. Bathiya, directed the Clerk to invite the nominee to appear before the assembly on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 along side his curriculum vitae for screening.

A 29 years old forest guard identified as Sunday Markus, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing a 25 years old Isa Hamadu to death. News Platform  Sunday was remanded at the correctional center by the Chief Magistrate Court I sitting in Yola, Adamawa  State Capital presided by Magistrate Lawan Musa.
