ADHA Receives Leader Leneke's Name for Confirmation as Commissioner


Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa LGA, for screening and confirmation as Commissioner. News Platform 

Leader Leneke's name was sent to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to assembly and read at the plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley.

After presenting the letter at the hallowed chamber, Rt. Hon. Bathiya, directed the Clerk to invite the nominee to appear before the assembly on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 along side his curriculum vitae for screening.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
