The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter, has strongly condemned senseless acts of violence against innocent citizens in Madagali, Hong and Gombi LGAs. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, of Adamawa state, has directed the immediate implementation of outstanding promotions of civil servants. Fintiri, gave the directive while receiving the officials of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), during courtesy visit, assured that all affected civil servants will receive their entitlements before the end of the month. He further assured that the Accountant General will ensure full payment of all entitlements once promotion records are updated.
