ADAMAWA POLICE ARREST 2 KUJE FLEEING INMATES



Adamawa State Police Command says it has arrested 2 inmates who fled from Kuje prison in Abuja, following jail break on the 5th June, 2022.


The the prison escapees include: Atiku Ibrahim, 37years and Adamu Ibrahim 40years. They were among over 500 inmates who escaped from the facility following the attack.


The spokesman of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the fleeing inmates were nabbed on the 19th May, 2023 in Adamawa state.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing.
