EID-EL-FITR: BATHIYA REJOICES WITH FAITHFUL, PREACHES LOVE, UNITY

The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has congratulated Muslims ummah on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr celebration marking the end of Ramadan fast. 

The Speaker in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard said the sacrifice made during the period is a true reflection of submission to Allah as one of the five pillars of Islam.

He used the medium and called on the faithful to sustain the lessons of humbleness, love and sacrifice which was demonstrated during this period. 

According to the statement, sustaining the lessons of ramadan will go a long way in promoting love and unity among the citizens. 

Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley while wishing the entire ummah happy Eid-el-fitir celebration, called for continued prayers for peace and unity of the state and the country as a whole. 

He assured citizens that the 8th Assembly under his leadership will continue to sustain legislative harmony with the executive arm for the progress and development of the state.
