EID-EL-FITR: NUJ FELICITATES WITH FINTIRI, MEMBERS

 

On this day of Eid-el-Fitr Sallah celebration, the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council felicitates with the Executive Governor of Adamawa state,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,His Deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, members of the state Executive Council, Speaker and Honourable members of the Adamawa state House of Assembly, the Lamido Adamawa, Alhaji Dr.Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha,Emirs and Chiefs and the good people of the state a happy sallah celebration.

The union  on this auspicious day,most sincerely salute it's members as they celebrate with their families and loved ones the joy and merriments of this year's Eid-el-Fitr Sallah.

While the NUJ congratulate the entire Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, the union implore the faithful to sustain the spirit of charity, piety and spiritual intercession for the state and the nation at large considering the prevailing economic challenges.

It is evident that the injunctions of Almighty Allah, which is fasting, Prayers, recitation of the Glorious Quran and offering Zakat have rejuvenated the faithful and the entire nation spiritually,such lessons should not be lost but sustained for the growth of the society.

The union further called for a sustained prayers for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Government of Adamawa state for a continued urban development drive,peaceful co-existance amongst the heterogeneous culture in the state as well as a bountiful wet-season.
