ATTACK: BOKO HARAM DEMAND #30M RANSOM ON 30 LOCALS ABDUCTED IN ADAMAWA

The dreaded Boko Haram insurgents have demanded the whooping sum of #3million ransom on over 30 people including women abducted during  attack on Kwapre village in Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa state.

The insurgents who were reported to have stormed the village in 9 gun trucks and several motorcycles on Friday, killed 10 people, burnt several houses and displaced over 5,000 inhabitants of the community.

While launching their deadly attack, the Book Haram insurgents who were seen in a military uniform, kidnapped more than 30 people and carted away with valuables.

But a stakeholder of Kwapre who craved for anonymity told NEWS PLATFORM exclusively on Monday that the attackers called them on Sunday and demanded for #30 million before releasing their victims.

According to him, they do not know where they can raise that amount of money to secure the release of their family members, lamenting that the assailants have set ablaze all their foodstuffs; and that for the past 2 days their ground nut and other food items were still burning.
