The Pastor of Fire House Revival Ministry in Yola, Adamawa state, Marwa Tumba, who is standing trial before Criminal Area Court II for alleged deceitful marriage filed against him by female Evangelist, Kwanye Tumba, has defied court injunction as he is set to tie nuptial knot with his preferred life partner, Comfort Innocent on Saturday this week.
Already, Evangelist Kwanye Tumba is threatening fire and brimstone that over her death body will the marriage hold, unless her former boyfriend refund all her expenses ranging from cash, materials including her house which he deceived her to sell.
Available information from the court revealed that Pastor Marwa will be getting married at the Life Spring Chapel behind Lamido Cinema in Jimeta Yola on Saturday 3th April, 2021, while the reception follows immediately at the Command Guest Inn along Army barracks road in Jimeta Yola.
It was gathered that Kwanye Tumba has threatened the church authority and the management of the hotel against any attempt to solemnise her embattled lover in the church and provide reception venue.
It could be recalled that Kwanye Tumba had dragged her said boyfriend to Honourable Nuhu Musa Garta led Criminal Area Court II for alleged refusal to marry her after he had promised to do so.
She told the Court that the 28 year Pastor had promised to marry her, made her sell her only apartment, paid #50,000 tithe directly into his personal account, supported his ministry financially and squandered the remaining balance, but later dumped her for another girl after he wasted her life, time and resources.
But upon his arraignment in court, the Pastor vehemently denied the liability, and since then, he has been standing trial before the court for the alleged offence.
