ADAMAWA POLICE NAB 3 FOR FOR THEFT OF 120 CEILING FANS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS



In its renewed commitment towards sustaining cross border patrol with a view to checkmating smugglers, traffickers, terrorists and armed robbers, the operatives attached to the State intelligence Bureau(SIB), Adamawa state have arrested 3 suspects for allegedly stealing 120 ceiling fans in a public schools.


Those apprehended by the SIB include; Tanko Jessay, 23, Linus Waba,  24 and Ahmed Aliyu 23, residents of Njuwa Mission  Askira-Uba in Borno State.


A statement by the spokesman of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahgaya Nguroje, and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Friday,  said that the boys burgled and stole 120 ceiling fans from the schools and were apprehended while talking the stolen items to Taraba.


 He explained that the suspects were arrested by the operatives attached to SIB for allegedly burgling Primary/Secondary schools in Askira UBA a bordering a village between Borno/Adamawa states.
