Three minors from Song town in Song Local Government Area, Adamawa state accused of witchraft have confessed that they usually transform into lizards, cats and cows and feast on human flesh after every 3 days.
The 3 kid witches aged seven to twelve further confessed before Chief Magistrate Court 4 in Yola, to be the ones who bewitched and afflicted a friend of their father, Umar in Song town with strange diseases.
Already, the court presided by Magistrate Adamu Abdulrazak, has ordered the children and a woman simply identified as Handama, accused of witchraft to as a matter of urgency restore the health of their victim.
The 3 self confessed witches, Obama Anthony, Bitrus Anthony, Grace Anthony and the woman were brought to court by Garkuwan Sarkin Mayun Adamawa, for allegedly bewitching Umar.
In their confessional statements, the children said that initially, they had used demonic powers and tied their father's friend with robes and iron as directed by the woman, and that presently, they have untied and removed what they had put in him.
Speaking exclusively to NEWS PLATFORM, one of the kids, Obama Anthony who is 12 years old, confessed that he was initiated into witchraft by the woman, saying that the woman has 6 children and all of them are witches.
Obama, narrated that the woman initiated him during the night when they were living together in the same compound, saying that they normally go out for a meeting after every 3 days at Dabala.
He told NEWS PLATFORM that he turns into a lizard before going out for meeting and eats roasted human flesh during the meeting, saying that he is willing to be delivered from it.
On his part, Bitrus Anthony who is 7 years old, stated that it was Handama who had opened his eyes, and has been a witch for a year, saying that he has never killed anybody, but he has been participating in their meetings and also eats human flesh.
Bitrus further disclosed that they have so far bewitched 7 people and that some of them are alive, while some of them are dead, saying that he turns into a white cat before operating.
Baring her mind, Grace Anthony who is 9 years old informed NEWS PLATFORM that she has been a witch for 3 years, narrating that it was his brother, Obama who initiated her, and that she has so far bewitched 8 people.
Grace further confessed that she attends meetings after every one day at Dabala, and turns into a white cow before going out, explaining that Handama has put headache, malaria fever and something into their victim.
