Tribunal Fixes January 14th for Adoption of Addresses in Petition against ADHA Lawmaker




The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has fixed 14th January, 2026 for the the adoption of final written addresses in petition filed against the Member representing Ganye constituency, Hon. Misa Musa. News Platform 


The tribunal presided by Justice A. O. Ebong, fixed the date after hearing in the petition filed by the PDP Candidate in the just concluded Ganye bye-election, Hon. Buba Mohammed Joda.


Hon. Joda is challenging the election of Hon. Misa Musa, elected on the platform of All Progressives Congress to represent Ganye constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. Gambo Nakura was arraigned before the court for the offences of defamation of character, use of insulting and abusive language, disturbance of public peace and inciting disturbance contrary to sections 378, 379, 385 and 80 of the penal code law. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
