Tribunal Reserves Judgement in Petition against ADHA Lawmaker

The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola Adamawa State has reserved judgement in petition filed against the Member representing Ganye constituency at the House of Assembly, Hon. Misa Musa. News Platform 


Justice A. O. Ebong, Chairman of the tribunal reserved judgement following the adoption of final written addresses and said that the date will be communicated to all the parties.


The petition was filed by the Candidate of the PDP, Hon. Buba Mohammed Joda and his party against the Hon. Misa Musa, APC and INEC, joined as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respondents respectively.


Adopting his final written address, Counsel to the 1st Respondent, Dr. Dayo Ashonibare, said that they had filed their addresses on the 8th December, 2025.


Dr. Dayo informed the tribunal that the 1st Respondent had formulated 2 issues for determination, and urged the tribunal to dismiss the petition.


While adopting his final written address, Counsel to the 2nd Respondent, Abubakar Ali, said that they have filed their on the 8th December, 2025 and filed reply on points of law on the 19th December, 2025 and urged the tribunal to dismiss the petition for lacking in merit.


On their part, Lead Counsel to the petitioners, Chief L. D. Nzadon, said that they have filed their addresses on the 13th December, 2025 and urged the tribunal to grant their petition based on the evidence tendered before it.
