MAIHA LEGISLATOR DISTRIBUTES EMPOWERMENT ITEMS, COMMISSIONS BLOCKS OF CLASSROOMS

 




The member representing Maiha constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Jingi Belel (Bero) on Saturday, distributed assorted empowerment items to his constituents.


Some of the items distributed include: 20 sewing machines, 20 grinding machines, 50 Baking Machines, 11 vulcanising machines, 5 complete set of barbing kits.


Others include; 8 complete set of mechanical tools, generators, sporting kits to all the 10 wards and security gadgets (uniforms, boots and touch lights) as well as instructional materials.


Aside the items, the Lawmaker has donated 2 buses to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Maiha LG chapter snd Muslim Council of Nigeria so as to facilitate their movement.


He equally commissioned a 2 blocks of classrooms and offices at Nguli Primary School, and embarked on the construction of 2 blocks of classrooms and offices at Wuro Bamadi Primary School.


He renovated clinic at Salma Modibbo as well as rehabilitated industrial borehole at Nguli so as to provide portable water to his electorate among other developmental projects.




In his remarks at the event, the Deputy Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Buba Jijiwa (Jada/Mbulo), congratulated them for having Hon. Jingi, as their member.




He described him as a leader par excellence who has foresight, visition and dedicated to delivering on his mandate, and called on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.


Speaking while distributing the items at Maiha LGC Secratariat, Hon. Ahmed Jingi Belel (Bero) thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for supporting them which saw to the distribution of the items.


Hon. Jingi Belel, said that he had promised during electioneering campaign that he will not disappoint them, and that be will be fair and just to his electorate irrespective of religion or political background.


He promised to be transparent in his representation and that he will bring whatsoever that is meant for them, assuring that he will continue to empower them whenever resources are available.


While commissioning the school he constructed at Nguli, Hon. Jingi, said that the construction of the school in the community became necessary considering the importance of education. 


Hon. Jingi, congratulated the community for the school and urged them to make use of the opportunity provided to ensure that their children acquire sound education.


He also promised to facilitate the employment of those who volunteer to teach children, and appealed to them to support as well as pray for the present administration for it continue in providing dividends of democracy.


In his goodwill message, the Commissioner Ministry of Live Stock and Acquare Culture, Hon. Tijjani Maksha, said that the member has done a good job for them, saying that the member has proven to be a good leader.


He told the gathering that the legislator has fulfilled his campaign promises to them, explaining that the member has done what his predecessors could not do for them.


Also speaking, the former who represented Maiha who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Hon. Hassan Kaigama, called on them to rally round their leaders to enable them succeed.


In their welcome address during the distribution ceremony at Maiha LGC Secretariat, the Head of Service of the LGC, Idris Isa Shelleng and the Chairman PDP Maiha LGA, Hon. Nasir Bindow, lauded the effort of the member in reaching out to his electorate.


In his goodwill message at the commissioning ceremony, Alh. Abubakar Salihu, applauded him for his commitment and love for people and urged him to facilitate the employment of NCE holders who volunteer to teach the children.


Also speaking, the Education Secretary Maiha LGA, Bello Ahmed, who was represented by Hauwa Saidu, advised the inhabitants to make use of the school for the benefit of their children.


In his welcome address, Ardo Nguli, Dauda Hamman, appreciated the lawmaker for constructing the block of classrooms and office at the community, and assured him of their support.
