In their separate remarks at the evemt, the women leaders described Azura as a credible and an acceptable aspirant who has large support of the people of the zone, insisting that he is the one that will deliver the zone to the party.

According to him, the level of his commitment has proven that he is the best candidate for the seat, and has a clean record and overwhelming support to win the forthcoming primaries as well as general election.

They promised to go back to their various wards and canvass support towards ensuring the nomination of Barr. DD Azura as PDP candidate for the zone.

More so, the women leaders assured him of their total support in actualising his ambition, describing his ambition as their own personal project and that of the zone

Responding, the Senatorial hopeful, Barr. DD Azura who was overwhelmed by the turnout of the women despite the distance, said that is an indication that they are in full support of the movement.
