A leading Contender for Adamawa Central Senatorial zone, Barrister DD Azura, has hailed the ruling Peoples Democratic Party's(PDP) over successful councillorship primary election across 226 political wards.
Barr. Azura, specifically applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, being the leader of the party and Barr. AT Shehu, lead PDP exco, for creating a level playing ground for the exercise, insisting that with Fintiri and Barr. AT Shehu, PDP is on the right track.
According to him, PDP remains the most peaceful and united party in the state and the country at large, and congratulated the leadership of the largest party and its members for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
Barr. Azura, in a statement through his Admin Officer, Emmanuel Damudu, extended his hearty congratulations to all winners especially those in the central zone.
He stated that the maturity and spirit of sportsmanship displayed by delegates which saw to the emergence of the flagbearers was a clear demostration that the ruling party is united and well prepared for future elections.
The Senatorial hopeful called on those who were not successful during the exercise to remain calm and work together with the candidates for the victory of the party in all elections.
Barr DD Azura, expressed optimism that the successful conduct of the primary election is an indication that PDP will win all elective positions in the 2023 general elections in the state and the country at large.
