BREAKING:COURT ACQUITS EX-GOV NGILLARI CABINET MEMBER, OTHER OF CORRUPTION




Adamawa State High Court of Justice presided by Hon. Justice Nathan Musa, has just discharged and acquitted former Commissioner Ministry of Finance, Jonathan Sanda Lamurde, accused of corruption.


Barr. Jonathan Lamurde, who served as the Commissioner of Finance during Govermor Ngillari's regime, was dragged before the court by EFCC.


Equally, Hon. Justice Nathan, has discharged and acquitted, Abdulrahaman Bobboi, erstwhile Protocol Officer to former Governor Bala James Ngillari, alleged to have diverted the sum of N8.140 million.


The EFCC in its 3 count charges before the court, alleged that Bobboi, who is the Political Adviser to Governor Fintiri, diverted the amount of money which was meant to trasnsport food items to Internally Displaced Persons.

Adamawa Forest Guard Stabs 25 Yrs Old Man to Death

A 29 years old forest guard identified as Sunday Markus, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing a 25 years old Isa Hamadu to death. News Platform  Sunday was remanded at the correctional center by the Chief Magistrate Court I sitting in Yola, Adamawa  State Capital presided by Magistrate Lawan Musa. The defendant who hails from Pallam community in Madagali LGA, was remanded following his arraignment before the court by the Adamawa State Police Command. Arraigning the defendant, the prosecuting police officer, Inspector Hamza Abdullahi, informed the court that the defendant was arrested on the 2nd January, 2026. The defendant allegedly stabbed Isa Hamadu in the stomach, and that the victim was confirmed dead by the medical doctor at cottage hospital Madagali when he was rushed for medical attention. ADHA Receives Leader Leneke's Name for Confirmation as Commissioner

Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa LGA, for screening and confirmation as Commissioner. News Platform  Leader Leneke's name was sent to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to assembly and read at the plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley. After presenting the letter at the hallowed chamber, Rt. Hon.
