Senator representing Adamawa South Senatorial District, Binos Dauda Yaroe has appreciated his constituents for giving him their mandate at the recently conducted elections which enable him return for second term in the 10th Assembly.
Speaking at a swearing-in reception he organised which was held at GDSS in Mayo-Belwa LGA over the weekend, Senator Binos pointed out that his achievements and his success stories would not have been possible without the unflinching support by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
He stated, "For instance, in all the free medical outreaches I conducted, they were fully supported by the Fresh-Air Governor. This is evidenced by the fact that all the free medical outreaches were carried out in government-owned hospitals.
"The only free medical outreach that we did not conduct in a government hospital was the one who carried at Demsa LGA, which the Archbishop LCCN gave us the church's medical center. All my achievements have been made possible because of the Governor's support".
Senator Binos said that his emergence as victor at the recent election was made possible by the electorate of the Adamawa South Senatorial District, noting that he could not thank them enough.
In his words, "I'm not the best, but the people of Adamawa South voted for me in 2019 and 2023 because they believed in me. Hence I thank them all for given me their mandate and believing in me".
Senator Binos Yaroe said that his return for the second term at the 10th Assembly would give him another opportunity to provide the needed dividends of democracy for his constituents, adding that he would prioritize the welfare of his people.
The Adamawa South Senator, who used the medium to appreciate the PDP State Executive Council and the party's stakeholders for their support and cooperation, noted that he would do everything humanly possible to make the party proud.
He stated, "As you all know, my first priority is to provide free medical outreach to my constituents. My second priority is to provide water supply. My major concern is the health and wellbeing of my people, and we all know that good drinking water enhances the healthy livelihoods of the people.
"I would not relent in embarking on free medical outreach. God willing, on 17th July, we will conduct free medical outreach in Ganye LGA. On water supply, I've been able to drill over 25 industrial bore-holes across the 9 LGAs in my Constituency, and I'll continue to do that for the benefit of my constituents".
Senator Binos further said, "At the 9th Assembly, I was like JJC. But now at the 10th Assembly, I know the workings in the Senate, hence my constituents should expect more people-oriented projects and programmes"
Due to the rich cultural heritage in Adamawa South Senatorial Zone, Senator Binos disclosed plans to organize a mega cultural dances to enable all the tribes on the district to showcase their cultural heritage.
Senator Binos pointed out that being in the opposition party in the Senate would not hinder him from providing result-oriented policies and programmes for the benefit of his people.
In his goodwill message, a PDP Stakeholder, Barr. D.D. Azura, expressed optimism that Senator Binos Yaroe would perform in the 10th Assembly far beyond what he did in the last four years.
Azura, who appreciated the Media for the role being played, calked on women to emulate the Wife of Senator Binos who always supports and stands by him in his political endeavour.
He thanked the people of Adamawa South Senatorial Zone for seeing the need to re-elect Senator Binos, assuring them that the Senator would not disappoint them.
In his remarks, Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCC) and President of Lutheran World Federation (LWF), Musa Panti Filibus, prayed God Almighty to give Senator Binos the wisdom and foresight to provide good governance for the benefit of his constituents.
Archbishop Panti called on the people of Adamawa South Senatorial District to promote peaceful coexistence, where he described peace as imperative for human existence.
Also speaking, Alh. Mohammed Gidado Imam, PDP stakeholder from Jada LGA, said that the era of politics is over, hence Senator Binos would put smiles on the faces of people irrespective of party differences.
According to Imam, the free medical outreaches being conducted by Senator Binos Yaroe have been touching the lives of people irrespective of religion or tribe, hence the need for the masses to support the Senator to enable him provide more dividends of democracy.
On her part, Hon. Aishatu Musa, Women Leader for Binos Campaign Council, said that women of Adamawa South Senatorial Zone are happy that Senator Binos has returned to the Senate, hence they should expect more democracy dividends.
Hon. Laraba Kefas, who could not hide her joy, assured the people of Adamawa South Senatorial District that Senator Binos would run an all-inclusive leadership. She noted that everybody would have a sense of belonging.
On his part, the PRO Miyyeti Allah Adamawa State, Mal. Mohammed Jika, pointed out that Senator Binos has restored peace and unity among the inhabitants of Numan Federation, noting that the Fulani are part of the major beneficiaries of the free medical outreach being conducted by the Senator.
He appealed to Senator Binos to consider the wellbeing of their cattle by embarking on vaccination and other health treatment of their animals, assuring the Senator of Fulbe's support and cooperation.
Rev. Bans Obed from the Bachama Kingdom, commended Senator Binos Yaroe for his commitment and determination to improving the wellbeing of his constituents, adding that, "I really commend Senator Binos for the free medical outreach".
According to him, "Senator Binos has the largest Constituency in Adamawa State, and his commitment to saving lives is commendable. I call on the people of all tribes in Adamawa South to unite themselves".
Also speaking, Sarkin Baka, Alh. Mohammed Tola, said that Senator Binos Yaroe has helped people irrespective of religion or tribe, where he called on other politicians to emulate the Senator by providing the needed dividends of democracy to the masses.
A renowned young politician in Mayo-Belwa LGA, Hon. Henry I. Kwataden, who described Senator Binos Yaroe as the best senator that Adamawa State has ever produced, commended the Adamawa South Senator for reaching out to the masses via his people-oriented projects.
Dr Alfred Yahaya, the first medical doctor in Yandan land, appreciated the efforts of Senator Binos in improving the health status of his constituents, which he said would go a long way in enhancing the livelihoods of the masses.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Vice Chairman PDP in Mayo-Belwa LGA, Mr Samaila Yusuf, urged Senator Binos to maintain the tempo he maintained for the past four years in reaching out to the less privileged, where he called on the people to rally round and support Senator Binos Yaroe to enable him provide more dividends of democracy for the benefit of the masses.
Highlights of the event were cultural dances displayed by Yandan, Bachama, Bacham, Chamba, Lunguda, Bali dancers among others.
