ADHA SPEAKER APPOINTS FEMALE LEGISLATOR AS M/LEADER, OTHERS



The Adamawa State House of Assembly on Monday, appointed Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno(Demsa) as the new Majority Leader.


The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, announced the appointment of the Member representing Maiha constituency, Hon. Jingi Belel as Deputy M/Leader.

The Chief Magistrate Court III sitting in Yola Adamawa State on Friday, ordered the remand of a Frontline Philantropist, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, and 3 others in prison custody for allegedly killing Thomas Godwin Zamfara. The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
