HON. LEKKI CONGRATULATES TUKUR OVER HIS APPOINTMENT AS SSG, HAILS FINTIRI

The Member representing Yola North constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Hamidu Sajo Lekki, has hailed the appointment of Hon. Awwal D. Tukur as the Secretary to the State Government.

The lawmaker, in a statement made available to newsmen in Yola on Thursday, expressed happiness over the appointment of Hon. Tukur, the Director General of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Adamawa.

While commending Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the wise choice, described the appointment it was well deserved.

He described the new SSG as a man with considerable understanding of the Government and people of the state, while serving as Campaign DG, ADSU Governing Board Chairman and above all as former Federal lawmaker.

He said that the SSG had worked closely with "Fresh Air Governor" and served in very notable positions where he distinguished himself.

He noted that Tukur's wealth of experience in administration, garnered over the years, will serve as an added advantage to the office of the SSG.

Hon. Lekki affirmed that the new Adamawa SSG, with his charisma, discipline and humility, is an excellent choice for the office, now being the engine room of the government.

While appreciating the Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON for the appointment, Hon. Lekki called on him to see his new responsibility as another avenue to promote the unity, peace and progress of the state.
