The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Bathiya Wesley has felicitated with the entire Muslim Ummah in the state on this years Eid-el-kabir sallah celebration
Rt. Hon. Bathiya who is the member representing Hong constituency also reminded Muslim on the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence among the diverse religious and ethnic groups for the overall development of Adamawa state
The Speaker in a statement through his media office and made available to newsmen in Yola, said he is pouring his heart to all Muslim Ummah for this year’s sallah which is being celebrated around the world.
He congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, other members of the 8th Assembly, leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other teeming supporters on the occasion Sallah celebration.
He also extended his sallah message to Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa and other members of the Adamawa State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, 21 LG's Council Chairmen and the Entire Muslim Ummah.
According to him, the celebration is a symbolic and historic religious injunction that showcased the act of obedience and reminded muslim in state to remain obedient to God as they mark the Eid-El-Kabir.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, enjoined the muslim faithfuls in the state to use the period and pray for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to enable him provide more developmental policies and projects to the people of Adamawa state.
