Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) says that the company has successfully distributed energy bills for the month of September 2023, urging customers to ensure prompt payment for effective service delivery.
The company has urged its valued customers to pay their bills on time to enable the company supply power to their communities, homes and business centers.
The company in a statement by Mr. Peter Cheman Koti for the Management of Yola Electricity Distribution Company said that the company is committed to providing reliable and efficient electricity services to its esteemed customers.
According to the company, timely and total payment of bills is crucial to ensure uninterrupted power supply to homes and communities.
"YEDC recognises the importance of prompt bill payment in maintaining a sustainable electricity distribution system. Since the company also procures electricity in order to distribute this, it is instructive that customers pay their bills completely as at when due.
"This is the only way the company can continue investing in infrastructure, upgrading equipment, and improving service delivery to meet the growing energy needs of its customers, the statement added.
It stated that to facilitate seamless payment processes, YEDC offers a range of convenient payment platforms designed to meet the diverse needs of its customers and these include Buy Power, Interswitch (Quickteller) and YEDC Customer Care App.
It explained that the mobile applications offer a user-friendly interface that allows customers to pay their bills effortlessly.
