7-Man Syndicate Arrested for Tricycle, Motorcycle Theft in Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended a 7- man syndicate who specialise in stealing as well as selling of stolen tricycles and motorcycles in Yola metropolis. The arrest followed a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation which also led to the recovery of two stolen tricycles and one motorcycles. This is contained in a release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to News Platform in Yola. He explained that the operatives of the Command, attached to the State Intelligence Department (SID) acted upon credible information and apprehended one Mohammed Alhaji, 25 years old, of Hulere Ward, Yola North LGA on the 24th June, 2025. According to him, during interrogation, the suspect confessed being part of a syndicate that specialise in the theft of tricycles and motorcycles in Yola.
