SPEAKER BATHIYA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS AT EID- El-KABIR




The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley has congratulated the Muslim faithful for witnessing another blessed season, urging them to use the occasion for sober reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. 


Rt. Hon. Bathiya in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard said Eid El-Kabir is a period for dedication and commitment in worshipping Allah through sacrifice. 


He urged them use this period to show love to their neighbors especially less privileged in the society as demonstrated by prophet Mohammed Peace be upon him. 


He reiterated that people should not be carried away by the celebration while others are dying of hunger but extending love to them through sharing. 


The Speaker appealed to them to pray for leaders and the state at large.


While calling for unity of purpose among people of the state, the Speaker noted that citizens should coexist peacefully devoid of any sentiment.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
