Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State capital on Wednesday convicted 7 Endsars Looters of offices and warehouse of the Nigeria Customs Service to 6 months imprisonment each without option of fine.
The court however discharged one (1 ) of the suspects for returning his stolen properties which are now in custody of the Village Head of Wauru Jabbe in Yola South Local Government Area.
The convicts and residents of Wauru last week admitted in court that they were among several other Endsars looters who invaded and carted away bags of Maize, Guinea Corn, fertilizer and other valuable property at the warehouse along Numan road in Jimeta/Yola on the 25th October, 2020.
NEWS PLATFORM reported that the convicts who were arraigned before Chief Magistrate II by the Operatives of the Department of Security Service (DSS) in Adamawa state, pleaded guilty for the alleged offences ranging from theft, destruction of public properties, trespass, breaking open receptacle among others.
