ADAMAWA CP CONDEMNS BRUTAL KILLING OF POLICE INSPETOR




The Commissioner of Police Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, has strongly condemned the killing of Police Inspector, Ibrahim Maizabuwa.


Insp. Maizabuwa, was gruesomely murdered on the 11th November, 2024 at Wamsa Suwa community in Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State.


Already, the Police Command has apprehended 2 out of 5 suspects in connection to the killing of Insp. Maizabuwa attached to Gombe State Police Command.


Those arrested so far include Ezekiel Kefas, 67 and Stephen Zabadi, 44, residents of Wamsa Suwa community.


CP Dankombo, in a release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, condemned the act and vowed to ensure the prosecution those responsible.


The release explained that the accused persons conspired, killed and buried the victim who had visited them to demand for the return of his 3 cows which he gave the first suspect to use and boost his farming activities.


SP Nguroje disclosed that the suspects took detectives of Anti Homicide Unit of the Police Command to a shallow grave of the deceased where the corpse was exhumed for autopsy.
