ADAMAWA GOVT INVITES MEMORANDA FOR NEW DISTRICTS


The Adamawa State Government urged communities agitating for creation of new Districts to submit their memoranda to the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs Department for consideration.


A release signed by Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri urged interested communities to submit their memeranda as from Monday, November 11th to November 25th, 2024.


"All Communities desirous in new Districts are eligible and free to submit their memoranda.


"Adamawa State Government's call for memorandum is  part of efforts to improve governance and administration at the local level", he said.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
