"GO, TAKE COVID-19 VACCINES"...ADHA SPEAKER ADVISES CITIZENS



Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas on Monday advised the general public to go and take the dreaded covid-19 vaccines.


Rt. Hon. Iya Abbas who gave the advice while presiding over the resumed plenary session, appealed to the citizens to avail themselves for vaccination.


According to him, taking the vaccine is free of charge, insisting that the vaccine is effective and safe, but however said that it is not compulsory for people to take it.


He added that the vaccine is available and ready to protect, and encouraged general public to go and take it.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
