BATHIYA, ADWAWA, LEKKI, 5 OTHER PDP LEGISLATORS WIN PRIMARY




About 8 incumbent Members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly have so far won the ongoing primary election being conducted by the PDP across the State.


The Hon. Members are seeking for 2nd term to continue in representing their various constituencies at the hallowed chamber.


So far, those that emerged victorious include;Hon. Bathiya Wesley(Hong), Hon Adwawa Donglock(Guyuk), Hon. Hamidu Sajo Lekki(Yola North), Hon. Myandassa Bauna(Lamurde), Hon. Japhet Kefas(Gombi), Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno(Demsa), Hon. Haruna Jilantikiri(Madagali), and Hon. Pwamwakeno Mackondo(Numan).

The Chief Magistrate Court III sitting in Yola Adamawa State on Friday, ordered the remand of a Frontline Philantropist, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, and 3 others in prison custody for allegedly killing Thomas Godwin Zamfara. Breaking: Court Sends Gambo Nakura to Prison for Insulting Ribadu, Alisha Buhari, Others

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. Gambo Nakura was arraigned before the court for the offences of defamation of character, use of insulting and abusive language, disturbance of public peace and inciting disturbance contrary to sections 378, 379, 385 and 80 of the penal code law. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
