PDP SENATORIAL ASPIRANT, DD AZURA CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS AT SALLAH



Peoples Democratic Party Senatorial Aspirant for Adamawa Central Zone, Barrister D.D Azura, has congratulated  Muslim Umah in the zone as well as in the state  for successful completion of Ramadan fast as well as Eid- El Fitir celebration.


D.D Azura in a statement  signed by his Admin Officer, Emmanuel  Damudu, applauded them for the prayers offered by the ummah during the fast.


The statement  added that the lessons  of the Ramadan  will    bring  peaceful  coexistence  in the  zone, state and the country  as a whole.


He further called on the people of the state to continue to support Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Administration in its quest to move Adamawa to a modern  state.

A 29 years old forest guard identified as Sunday Markus, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing a 25 years old Isa Hamadu to death. Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa LGA, for screening and confirmation as Commissioner. News Platform  Leader Leneke's name was sent to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to assembly and read at the plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley. After presenting the letter at the hallowed chamber, Rt. Hon. Bathiya, directed the Clerk to invite the nominee to appear before the assembly on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 along side his curriculum vitae for screening.
