About 51 inmates from various correctional centres across Adamawa have gained freedom after payment of their fine by a Philantropist, Dr. Emmanuel Musa.
The President EMNAMU Foundation has donated cash to over one thousand patients at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola, as well as Specialist Hospital Yola respectively.
Likewise, Dr. Emmanuel Musa was also at orphanage home in Yola where he presented cash to all children.
The gesture is part of his humanitarian activities to mark his birthday.
The Philantropist who was at Adamawa State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service accompanied by Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, former CAN Chairman Adamawa state and Catholic Bishop of Yola.
Dr. Emmanuel Musa charged the freed inmates to go back to their various communities to be good citizens and contribute meaningfully to the society.
He maintained that anyone that wishes to go back to school will be given scholarship to do so.
He assured the Controller of the Correctional Centres Adamawa state that he always feels happy to come home to celebrate his birthday with inmates and the less privileged in the society.
He promised to partner with the service in ensuring that inmates are provided with more trained equipment like sewing machines welding machine among others so that after leaving the center they will be useful to them self and the society.
The state Controller thanked Dr Emmanuel Musa for his humanitarian gesture and called on others to emulate him.
The immediate CAN Chairman Adamawa state who is also a Catholic Bishop of Yola said as someone who always engages in missionary work is proud to be associated himself with people like Dr Emmanuel Musa who dedicated his life and resources to humanity and prayed God to reward him.
The humanitarian Dr also meet patients on their sick beds and the Yola Specialist hospital and Modibbo Adama university teaching hospital Yola where he presented Cash to patients and wish the quick recovery.
