The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council extends it's heartfelt felicitations to the Executive Governor of Adamawa state,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, the Speaker of the state Assembly,Bathiya Wesley, members of the state Executive Council, lawmakers ,Emirs and Chiefs and the good people of Adamawa state on this auspicious day of the 2024 Christmas celebration.
The union particularly, rejoices with all it's members on this significant day, which is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and it's essence to mankind.
The yuletide season as we also count down to few days to new year 2025 reminded us of the core values of love, compassion and pure ideals that we share as a people.
The celebration of 2024 Christmas is special on the minds of Adamawa people because it was heralded by monumental infrastructural development and expansion of traditional institutions as demonstrated by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led administration.
The NUJ therefore implore the good people of the state to reciprocate the gesture by maintaining and propelling the peace enterprise for more dividends of democracy.
Peace is priceless and it is always Paramount particularly in a heterogeneous society like ours.
We should equally remember that behind Christmas is the idea that we are to be brother's keeper and share our love with all and Sundry.
The media is the vehicle for re-shaping our democracy and let gentlemen of the pen profession use these festive period to instilled patriotism and fear of God in the minds of citizens of Adamawa state.
May this season bring to you and your families good tidings.
