FINTIRI TO PRESENT 2022 BUDGET BEFORE ADHA WEDNESDAY

 


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is expected to lay 2022 proposed budget estimates before the state House of Assembly on Wednesday.


The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amimu Iya Abbas, who announced this while presiding over the resumed plenary on Tuesday, said if things being equal, the Governor is expected to present the budget on Wednesday.


Rt. Hon. Aminu, told his colleagues that the budget is to be presented for consideration by the Honourable Members.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
