Gov Fintiri, ADHA M/Leader Bag Peace, Unity Awards



Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as well as Muslim Council of Nigeria in Demsa LGA Adamawa state have jointly presented award to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his administration's commitment peace and unity.


The associations equally presented award to the Majority Leader and Member representing Demsa constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno.


Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno was honoured for strengthening partnership, promoting peaceful coexistence and community development in her constituency.


According to CAN and Muslim Council, the award to the female Lawmaker was in recognition of her support, leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth and welfare of the religious communities and the good people of Demsa LGA.


Governor Fintiri and the Lawmaker were presented with separate awards in Demsa town during the Governor's visit to the LGA to commission developmental projects.


Speaking to newsmen on the honour done to them, Hon. Mamuno, thanked the religious bodies for honouring them, explaining that the bodies presented the award to the Governor for administration's commitment to infrastructural development, peace and unity.


Hon. Mamuno said that the award given to her will spur her to do more in promoting peace, unity and progress, and thanked her electorate for their support.


She applauded Fintiri for his giant strides, saying that the Governor has done them proud for his administration's impact in critical sectors in the LGA, saying that they have felt the impact of his government in the LGA.


The Lawmaker enumerated some of the achievements Governor had recorded in the LGA, reassuring of their support and loyalty to the Governor, saying that the inhabitants of Demsa do not pretend when its comes showing their love to him.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
