Sen Amos Yohanna Condemns Madagali Attack, Condoles Victims
Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial Districts, Amos K. Yohanna, has condemned Boko Haram attack on Madagali Community which claimed several lives.
Senator Amos K. Yohanna, also consoled the families of those who lost their lives as well as properties and his entire electorate over the attack.
In his condolence message, Sen. Amos said "I strongly condemn this barbaric and inhuman act, which has resulted in the loss of innocent lives, destruction of property, and emotional trauma to peaceful and law-abiding citizens.
He said that he had received with deep sorrow and grave concern the devastating attack on the people of Madagali by the insurgent group, Boko Haram.
"On behalf of the good people of Adamawa North Senatorial District, and as their representative in the National Assembly, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Madagali community, and the entire people of Adamawa State over this tragic incident.
"I share in the pain and grief of all those affected by this senseless attack, and I pray that God grants eternal rest to the departed souls, comfort to the bereaved families, and quick recovery to those who sustained injuries", he lamented.
He re-assured that he is fully committed to advocating for improved security, enhanced intelligence gathering, and stronger protection for vulnerable communities across Adamawa North.
He said, "Terrorism and violence have no place in our society. These acts must be confronted with firm resolve, collective action, and sustained support for our security agencies".
He promised to continue to engage relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure that the safety of their people remains a top priority.
Senator Amos K Yohanna, urged his electorate to remain united, resilient, and steadfast at this difficult time, assuring that together, they will overcome the challenge and continue to build a peaceful and prosperous society.
