The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley on behalf of the entire members of the State Assembly Congratulate Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the entire People of the state over the victory at the Supreme Court.
The Speaker in a Press Statement Issued by his chief press Secretary Hyellamada Bernard said the decision of the supreme Court in upholding the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is a confirmation of the people's mandate.
The judgement has finally brings to an end the issue of litigation on the victory of the Governor in the 2023 general elections.
The Speaker while commending Judiciary for live to it's obligation, said judiciary remains the last hope of the common man.
He noted that the Governor will now concentrate on Governance in continuation of his developmental programs for the state.
While calling on people of the state to continue to support the Fintiri administration, Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley maintain that the state Assembly under his leadership will continue to maintain Executive Legislature relationship for the peace, unity and development of our dear State.
He also called on the opposition to join the fresh air administration in moving the state forward as the state belongs to all it's citizens.
