POLICE NAB MAN FOR STEALING 13 ATM CARDS IN ADAMAWA

 


Adamawa State Police Cammand has arrested a man identified as   Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu, over the allegation of theft.


According to the command, the suspect was arrested on the 29th December, 2023, with 13 ATM cards of different banks, 1 National Identity Card, Wallet containing Documents, Itel P551w Handset.


A statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the operatives of the Command attached to Department of State Intelligent arrested Abubakar while on surveillance patrol around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta.


SP Nguroje explained that the suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area.


He said that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa LGA and was arrested in the process of sell the items at Shopping Complex.


SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, assured that the suspect will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences.
