ARMED MILITARY MEN BEAT UP GUYUK LGC STAFF, BREAK HIS LEG


Some armed military men repotedly beat up as well as broke the leg of a staff of Guyuk Local Government Council in Adamawa State.


The victim known as Gwalba Enugu, is the staff Guyuk LGC and works under Vetenary Department.



The father of 4 was beaten up by the armed military men in Guyuk town by 9:00 pm on Thursday, near Guyuk Primary Health Care Center.


According to sources, the incident occurred following a minor misunderstanding between the Commander of the Military in Guyuk and a man at a shopping mall on that fateful night.


The commander was said to have stormed the shopping mall with his girlfriend and had a misunderstanding with a different man, and on leaving the mall, he mobilised his men in order to teach the man a lesson.


On their arrival near PHC Center Guyuk, the armed military men descended on the victim who was passing by and did know what was going on and beat him ruthlessly to the extend of breaking his leg.   


A younger sister to the victim, lamented the kind of treatment meted to her brother by the soldiers and appealed to relevant authorities to intervene in the matter.


When contacted, the Army Public Relations Officer, Lieutenant Princewill Odoemenan, said that they are not aware of the incident.
