SONG LAWMAKER CONDOLES FINTIRI, CONSTITUENTS OVER V/CHAIR's DEATH



The Member representing Song constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Kefas, has condoled Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, over the death of the Vice Chairman Song LGC, Hon. Simon Audu (JP).


The Vice Chairman passed on to glory on the 30th December, 2023, at the age of 55, and will be laid to rest on the 6th January, 2024, at Sebulur community in Waltadi Song LGA. 


In his condolence message, Hon. Emmanuel Kefas, sympathised with Governor Fintiri led administration, the Executive Chairman Song LGC, Hon. Abdulsalam Gidado, PDP leadership over the demise of the Vice Chairman.


Hon. Emmanuel, who is the Chairman House Committee on  Security of the House of Assembly also extended his deepest condolences to his constituents as well as the immediate family of the deceased.


He described late Hon. Simon Audu (JP) as humble, hardworking and a seasoned politician who has the love of Song LGC at heart, saying that his demise is a great loss not only to his immediate family but Yungur Nation, Song LGC and Adamawa State in general.


The legislator said that the entire Song will miss the humble politician and prayed that God Almighty will comfort family, friends and associates, and repose the soul of the departed.
