The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. Gambo Nakura was arraigned before the court for the offences of defamation of character, use of insulting and abusive language, disturbance of public peace and inciting disturbance contrary to sections 378, 379, 385 and 80 of the penal code law. MICHIKA CONCERNED CITIZENS BLAST BONI HARUNA FOR DISRESPECTING PARAMOUNT RULER

The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika. According to them, the conduct of the former Governor of Adamawa state who hails from Michika Chiefdom has left many deeply disappointed, saying his failure to liberate his people from oppression when he had the chance remains a painful reminder of what happens when leadership lacks vision and resolve. Court Dismisses Rep Baba Zango's Land Suit against Gov Fintiri

A Yola High Court in Adamawa State on Tuesday, dismissed a land suit instituted by the Member representing Yola North, Yola South and Girei at the House of Representatives, Hon. Abubakar Baba Zango against Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. News Platform  Hon. Baba Zango and the Estate of Late Jika Paris dragged, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Ministry of Land and Survey, Attorney General and the Commissioner Ministry of Land and Survey challenging the revocation of a piece of land. The piece of land in contention is situated opposite Yola International Airport along Numan Road in the state capital and it is popularly known as Muhammadu Buhari Square.
