Senator Adamawa North Congratulates Fintiri on Golden Award of Excellence



The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Amos K. Yohanna, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on the golden award of excellence presented to him by the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).



Senator Amos Yohanna said that the recognition of Governor Fintiri with the Golden Award of Excellence for Education and Teacher Friendliness by the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) is well deserved.


He said that the honour is yet another testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to transforming the education sector in Adamawa State. 


According to him, his visionary leadership has not only revitalized the schools but has also restored pride and dignity to the teaching profession.


"Under his administration, we have witnessed massive infrastructural investments in education, prompt payment of teachers’ salaries, and deliberate policies aimed at improving learning conditions across the state. 


"These are tangible reflections of a leader who understands that education is the foundation of every developed society.


"Your Excellency, this recognition by the Nigeria Union of Teachers is not just an award, it is a resounding affirmation of your dedication, compassion, and impact on the lives of teachers and students alike.


"On behalf of the good people of Adamawa North Senatorial District, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and prayers for continued wisdom and strength as you continue to lead Adamawa State to greater heights", said Senator Amos.


Senator Amos K. Yohanna, further stated that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is truly the People’s Governor; a builder, a reformer, and a friend of teachers.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
