ADHA Lawmaker Donates N4million for YADA Secretariat Construction




The Member representing Song Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Kefas, has donated the sum of N4million for the construction Yungur Area Development Association in Song LGA.


The money is to assist the association in constructing its Secretariat located in Dumne, the headquarters of Yungur Chiefdom in the LGA.


It could be recalled that the Legislator recently donated the whopping sum of N50million aimed at empowering his teeming constituents.


The beneficiaries of the N50million, who cut across 11 political wards of Song constituency, smiled home with categories of amount of money allocated to them by the lawmaker.


Likewise, out of his magnanimity, the PDP Lawmaker donated the sum of N4million to the leadership of Yungur Area Development Association (YADA) to enable the association continue with the construction work.


Hon. Emmanuel Kefas donated the money through the National Chairman of the association, Mr, Philimon Amtonbita, and urged them to use the money for the construction of the Secretariat.


He said that the gesture is aimed at supporting the good work initiated by the association, assuring that he will not relent in supporting his electorate from time to time.


He thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his support to the assembly and pledged his continued support and loyalty to his administration and urged his electorate to continue to support good programmes and policies of the government.


Responding, the National Chairman of the association, Mr. Philimon Amtombita, commended Hon. Emmanuel Kefas, for good representation, assuring that the resources will be judiciously utilised for the purpose intended.


Mr. Philimon Amtombita assured of the support of the association and wished him a successful tenure.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
