JUST IN: 2 WOMEN FIGHT DIRTY OVER SWAP OF BABIES AT YOLA SPECIALIST

Two Women, Hajara Usman and Aisha Adamu have appeared before Upper Area Court 5 in Adamawa State over swap of new born babies at the Specialist Hospital.

Hajara Usman, resident of Wauru Jabbe and Aisha Adamu of Saminaka in Yola South Local Government Area who were both in labour at the hospital , gave birth to baby girls at the hour 1:05am and 1:00am respectively on the 2nd March, 2022.

But during the presentation of the babies to the mothers, Aisha Adamu alleged that the baby given to her was not her baby, and that the baby was swapped.

NEWS PLATFORM learnt that despite all entreaties to make her accept the baby fell on deaf ears, and that her husband, Sani Abubakar also aligned with claim by rejecting the baby as not their own.

It was as a result of this that the hospital authority dragged both women and their spouses before Upper Area Court 5 presided by Honourable Musa Yahya Nuhu.

The hospital through its counsel, Sunday Wugira, prayed the court to order for the conduct of maternity test to determine the mothers of ther babies.
