Former Governor of Adamawa State, Barr. Bala James Nggilari, has accepted to join the race for Adamawa Northern Senatorial zone, declaring that he is in the race to bring needed development for the zone.
In his acceptance message made available to NEWS PLATFORM, Nggilari said, "I am giving my self into the race for the seat of the Senate for Mubi Senatorial District to bring the desired and deserved development to my people".
He disclosed that he has set the zone as a priority above his political ambition during the insurgency, saying that it is high time to bring in giant developmental strides earlier ravaged by the insurgents.
"This phase of my life is not for harnessing wealth nor building wealth to my self. I am a man blessed by God, and I am thankful; rather I desire to build more on all the efforts that had been made in the past by making impact on the lives of my people and the state at large" said Nggilari.
He said that he is presenting his ambition to the electorate to contest for the office of the Senator Adamawa Senatorial zone.
While appreciating his electorate for their support, Barr. Bala James Nggilari, prayed God to perfect all that concerns his zone for his glory and the restoration of a greater Mubi senatorial zone .
