POLICE DEPLOY 6, 756 PERSONNEL FOR ADAMAWA LG POLLS

Ahead of Saturday 9th Local Government Councils election, the Adamawa State Police Command says it has deployed 6, 756 personnel so as to ensure hitch free exercise.

The spokesman of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje, who stated this in a chat with NEWS PLATFORM on Thursday, said that personnel are to maintain law and order before, during and after the exercise.

DSP Nguroje said that the personnel will be assisted by sister agencies such as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corpse(NSCDC, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) among others so as to ensure peaceful execise.
