A 25 year old man, Jika John is currently cooling off in one of the cells of the Adamawa State Command over alleged criminal tresspass and attempt to commit theft.
The accused person who hails from Michika Local Government Area but resides at Sabon Pegi in Wuro Chekke, Yola South LGA in the State was arrested on Monday 6th June, 2022.
He was apprehended following a distressed call from the College of Nursing and Midwifery Yola, where he had tresspassed to perpetrate the alleged crime.
NEWS PLATFORM gathered that the Suspect entered the College in order to steal gas cylinder in the female hostel in order to sell it.
But speaking to newsmen at the headquaters of the Police Command, the Suspect, Jika, narrated that there was a girl in the school who asked him to pay her a visit in order to have sex.
He confessed that they made an arrangement with the girl on Sunday 5th June, 2022 against Monday for convienence as all her room mates will not be in the hostel, saying that he went and wore female clothes so as to have easy access to the hostel.
He explained that he was apprehended by the security while on his way to the hostel between 7:30 to 8:00 pm, insisting that their plan was to go and have sex and not to steal.
Fielding questions from newsmen, the OC Crack Squad, of the Police Command CSP Ahmed Danjuma Gombi, said that it was not true that he was in the school to have sex with a lady but to steal gas cylinders in order sell it.
