ADAMAWA LAWMAKER, DAN MUSA DUMPS APC FOR PDP




The Member representing Mubi North constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Shuaibu Dan Musa, on Wednesday,  dumped All Progressives Congress(APC) for the ruling Peoples' Democratic Party(PDP).


Hon. Dan Musa who won 2019 general election for the constituency under the platform of the APC, announced his defection from the party to PDP at the plenary session presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas on Tuesday.


In a letter read at the resumed plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, the lawmaker cited injustice and lack of internal democracy in his former party as to reason behind his defection.


NEWS PLATFORM recalls that the Lawmaker has sought for re-election under his former party, but lost out during the just concluded primary election conducted by APC.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
