CJ POSTS NEW HIGH COURT JUDGES ...AS ABBAS HEADS TO MUBI



The Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Hon. Justice Nathan Musa, on Monday posted 4 new High Court Judges sworn in recently.


Those posted include; Hon. Justice Felix D. Nzarga to High Court 8 Yola, Hon. Justice Abbas Adamu Hobon to High Court No 2 Mubi, Hon. Justice Maxwell Pukuma to Ganye High Court division and Hon. Justice Ishaku Yakubu Halliru to High Court 7 Yola.


Justice Nathan, also redeployed Hon. Danladi Mohammed from Mubi division to High Court No 4 Yola, while Justice Kyanson Samuel Lawanson from Ganye to High Court No 1 Mubi.


A circular dated 6th June, 2022 and signed by Justice Nathan, a copy of which was obtained by NEWS PLATFORM, said that the posting and redeployment is with immediate effect.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. Gambo Nakura was arraigned before the court for the offences of defamation of character, use of insulting and abusive language, disturbance of public peace and inciting disturbance contrary to sections 378, 379, 385 and 80 of the penal code law. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
