The Member representing Guyuk constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Adwawa Donglock, says operating with local hunters is the only solution to security challenges in Guyuk Local Government Area.
Hon. Adwawa, who stated this while condoling the inhabitants of Dumna community in Guyuk Local Government Area, over the recent communal clash which claimed about 4 innocent lives.
The Legislator disclosed that the only way to proffer lasting solution on the incessant attacks on Guyuk communities is the active involvement of the Local Hunters.
Hon. Adwawa who is the Chairman Committee of Public Petition and Electoral Matters of the assembly obvserved that the Hunters know their terrain very well and that their involvement will go along way in ending such clashes.
He used the opportunity and met with the security chiefs including the Police, Army, Civil Defense among where they deliberated on how to curb the clashes.
He extended his deepest condolences to the immediate families of those who lost their lives, the entire, Guyuk LGA and the state in general and prayed God to grant them fortitude to bear the loss.
Hon. Adwawa Donglock, also appealed to the entire youth not to take laws into their own hands, and pleaded with them to remain calm and law abiding.
