WIFE HIRES MAN FOR N7, 000 TO KILL HER HUSBAND, 2 OTHERS

A Jealous House Wife, Hauwa Audu, has landed in prison custody in Yola, Adamawa State for allegedly plotting to kill her estranged husband and 2 of her neighbours.

Hauwa, of Daka village in Michika LGA was held by the Chief Magistrate Court I, after she was arraigned before it for an alleged " attempt to commit culpable homicide".

She allegedly hired the services of one Kwaji Tizhe, of Nkafa village by paying him the sum of N7, 000, as part payment in order to help her rid her of her husband and 2 others.

According to the Prosecutor, ASP Francis Audu, the Defendant hatched a plot to eliminate her husband, James Tizhe and 2 others: Maryamu Bugi and Bugi Walla.

The Prosecutor, intimated the Court that the Defendant, gave cash deposit of N7, 000, to the assassin out of the sum of N100, 000, she had promised to pay after executing those she had penciled down.

But to her utter disappointment and regret, the hired killer collected the cash deposit on the 3th June, 2022, and went and reported the matter to the police who swung to action and arrested her.

However, a credible source who craved for anonymity, told NEWS PLATFORM that the Jealous House Wife, was not actually planning to have her husband killed but to paralyse him.

The source added that Hauwa paid the money to Kwaji, to go and consult native doctor on her behalf so as to paralyse her husband and not to kill him because he does not treat her as his wife any longer.

NEWS PLATFORM was informed that for the past 9 years, the husband did not share the same bed with his embattled wife and did not take good care of her; hence, her decision to have him paralysed.

Likewise, on the issue of Maryamu and Walla, the Defendant was said to have accused them of murdering her daughter-in-law by witchcraft as a result of which she decided revenge.

Upon her arraignment in Court, the Defendent responded in the negative, insisting that the allegation levelled against her  is not true.

It was after she entered her plea that the Prosecution applied for adjournment to enable it duplicate case file and send same to DPP for vetting considering the nature of the alleged offence.

In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Mohammed Buba, ordered the remand of the Defendant and subsequently adjourned the matter to the 14th July, 2022.
