The tribunal also awarded the sum of N150,000 cost in favour of Hon. Moses Yerima Zah against the Petitioners, Hon. Luka Danbaba and his party, the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Hon. Yerima Moses Zah of the Peoples' Democratic Party(PDP) is the member representing Michika constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
Hon. Danbaba Luka of APC dragged INEC, Hon. Moses Yerima Zah, and PDP, alleging that Hon. Moses Yerima Zah was not elected by the majority of lawful votes cast.
Hon. Luka Danbaba averred that the election was cancelled at some polling units, over voting, and not in compliance with the electoral act and prayed the tribunal to declare the election inconclusive.
The petitioner urged the tribunal to order the electoral empire to conduct supplementary election at the polling units and wards where elections were cancelled in the entire constituency.
In their submission, the respondents told the tribunal that the petitioners had failed woefully in pleading and leading evidence to prove their case as provided by law.
